IESNA Membership
Individual Membership
The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America reflects the strength and
ability of its membership and is the standard bearer for the advancement of
technology and the development of applications. Through its documents and
programs it provides a forum that helps to further professionalism and personal
growth. Through its membership, the Society's most vital resource, the IESNA has
gained strength, purpose, and the reputation as the most renowned and respected
organization in the lighting industry.
Though composed primarily of engineers in its formation in
1906, as the landscape of the industry changed, material was developed to
address the needs of professionals from diverse, yet related, disciplines. Today
the IESNA is composed of over 10,000 professionals from the following fields:
